18 ore fa · Il film del 2004 è il sequel del precedente film anime di Oshii Ghost in the Shell del 1995, che adatta il manga omonimo di Masamune Shirow. Mamoru Oshii ha diretto il film e Oshii ha scritto la sceneggiatura. La produzione I.G ha lavorato su entrambi i film. Go Fish Pictures ha distribuito il film in DVD con sottotitoli in inglese nel 2004.

Perhaps a depressing lack of faith in female-fronted genre pieces factored in. Either way, whether this vote of low studio confidence dented its returns or not, Garland’s Ex Machina follow-up under-performed at theatres.
