Manufacturers want to guarantee that you get what you expect when you shoot their film, and the date is a way to guarantee it. But film doesn’t become useless as soon as soon as it expires.

27 mag 2021 · Make a spacer for your 16 mm cut-down reel by slicing a ring off the top of a film canister. About 9-10 mm should do fine. Cutting the ring will enable it to go over the spindle of the reel, but its springiness should keep it in place to act as a spacer. A clip on the core for the tank holds the top spiral in place.

10 mar 2023 · S'il y a bien une information qu'il faut avoir le plus immédiatement possible et le plus précisément possible, c'est bien la date (et l'heure) d'expiration des droits. Or avec cette nouvelle mise en page, non content de rajouter une étape ( et perdre du temps), on perd en lisibilité !
