Wyatt Berry Stapp Earp dit Wyatt Earp ( 19 mars 1848 - 13 janvier 1929) est un chasseur de bisons, officier américain et marshal à Dodge City. Il est connu principalement pour sa participation à la fusillade d'O.K. Corral à Tombstone avec Doc Holliday, et ses frères Virgil et Morgan Earp (en) .
Morgan Earp was born on April 24, 1851, in Pella, Lowa, to Nicholas Porter Earp and his second wife, Virginia Ann Cooksey. His father was a farmer and cooper, who made utensils and barrels out of wood and other material. Morgan had nine siblings, of which three were sisters.
Morgan Earp’s claim to fame is as one of the three Earp brothers at the O.K. Corral gunfight, alongside Virgil and Wyatt. He served as Tombstone, Arizona’s Special Policeman. The reason for the shootout was repeated death threats made by the Cowboys, who were frustrated with disruption in their business.
