12 mar 2018 · Geboren wurde Hubert de Givenchy 1927 als Sohn einer Adelsfamilie im nordfranzösischen Beauvais. Sein Vater, ein Marquis, starb an den Folgen einer Grippe, als der Sohn zwei Jahre alt war.
Hubert de Givenchy esteve no Brasil duas vezes: a primeira na década de 50, para o lançamento de uma coleção de algodão que havia sido encomendada pela Fábrica de Tecidos Bangu e a outra, em 1995, para abrir o Primeiro Congresso Brasileiro de Moda, promovido pelo Instituto Zuzu Angel e pela Faculdade Veiga de Almeida, no Rio de Janeiro.

The collection is composed of masterworks from the elegant Hôtel d'Orrouer in Paris and the magical Château du Jonchet just a short drive south of the capital.
