The College Honors Program offers academically superior students, regardless of major, the opportunity to participate in a four-year honors experience. The program has two parts: General Education Honors and Departmental Honors. Each part may be taken independently of the other and will be noted on the student’s official transcript.

Rhode Island College’s B.S.N. program is fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. We offer a strong liberal education and preparation for professional nursing practice. Our clinical placements occur in nationally recognized health-care facilities and local community agencies.
Rhode Island College has established a series of 2+2 Program Transfer Plans for Community College of Rhode Island students seeking the most efficient route to a bachelor’s degree. The first 14 plans developed are among the most popular transfer majors and are considered 2+2 plans for those students who enroll full-time.
