Roland Calvert Cubitt, né le 26 janvier 1899 et décédé le 28 octobre 1962 est un pair héréditaire britannique, titré baron Ashcombe, jusqu'à son décès le 28 octobre 1962 [1]. Père de Rosalind Cubitt , il est aussi grand-père de Camilla Shand , reine consort du Royaume-Uni depuis 2022 en tant qu'épouse du roi Charles III .
Rosalind wurde geboren Mayfair, London auf 11. August 1921, das älteste von drei Kindern des Herrn Roland Calvert Cubitt (1899-1962) und seiner Frau Sonia Rosemary Cubitt (geb. Keppel; 1900-1986). Sein Vater war der Sohn von Henry Cubitt, dem zweiten Baron Ashcombe, der nach seinem Tod der dritte Baron Ashcombe wurde.

Sonia Rosemary Cubitt, OBE (née Keppel, previously The Hon. Mrs. Cubitt; 24 May 1900 – 16 August 1986) was a British socialite, author and aristocrat. She was the first wife of Roland Cubitt, 3rd Baron Ashcombe and, through her only daughter Rosalind , was the maternal grandmother of Queen Camilla .
