A Dream About Death. I'll be the first to admit that I listen to A LOTA of music. Not just in quantity but in frequency. It's on when I make breakfast, in the car to work, while I'm eating lunch, as soon as I get home, etc. The beautiful thing about services such as Spotify is that I can sustain this way of life without fear of getting bored.

It says a lot to say this is a new fav, especially from someone who has been a fan for 15 years. I love it. It’s a beautifully written romantic tragedy, the missing chapters of the last that finish the story. A battle between love and hate, desire and resentment, self reflection and the ego.
Circa Survive’s 2022 EP A Dream About Death is the strong break that Circa Survive needed from their emo roots. Though the electronic sound was debuted with the 2021 EP A Dream About Love, this later EP feels more like the direction that they probably wanted to go in.
