Batyrkhan Shukenov lived between 1962-2015. He was born in Kyzlorda, and was co-founder and lead singer of the popular music group A-Studio. He was the lead vocalist and saxophone player.

A-Studio. A-Studio, stylized as a'studio, is a Russian-based Kazakhstani pop music group originally consisting of Baigali Serkebayev (keyboard), Vladimir Mikloshich (bass), Baglan Sadvakasov (solo guitar) and frontman Batyrkhan Shukenov (vocal and sax). The band was created in 1982 in Almaty, then called Alma-Ata, hence called "Alma-Ata Studio".
On 29 April Batyrkhan Shukenov died after having a heart attack. Until his death the season had finished twelve of its fifteen episodes. The recordings of the last episodes continued but without Shukenov. Before he died he was on the third position in the ranking.
