Mr L Eames. English is a core subject. In Years 7, 8 and 9 students having seven periods per fortnight. Our students study GCSE English Language and English Literature in Years 10 and 11, and A'Level English Language and English Literature in Years 12 and 13. Bishop Luffa School is a Church of England Academy. Admissions are controlled by the Directors. Admissions to the Sixth Form are from the school’s Year 11 students and from those wishing to join the Sixth Form from other schools. Although we are a Church of England school, there are no denominational requirements for entry into the Sixth Form.
The Bishop Luffa Secondhand Uniform Shop is run by the Parents and Friends Association (PFA) on a voluntary basis and provides a service to the school, students, parents and carers, as well as raising funds for the PFA and therefore the school. For students travelling from Selsey and Hunston to Bishop Luffa, Stagecoach operates a 651 to the school which will only be open for school and college students to travel on. Returning in the afternoon they will need to continue using normal service buses back to Hunston and Selsey which will be operating every 15 minutes. Witterings and Birdham.
