Sixteen years on, Crank It, We’re Doomed, the album that gathered a few of the songs that had been pouring from Todd Snider’s creative mind, has received a commercial release in 2023. The album switches genres soundtracking the songs with persistent grooves (“The Last Laugh – Doomed Version”) and foot-stomping tales (“America’s Favorite Pastime – Doomed Version”).
29 feb 2024 · Then every month until December, Snider will release Todd’s Versions of every album in his catalog as part of a year-long celebration of his 30th anniversary of record-making. The collections were recorded during 2020 and 2021 as part of Snider’s online shows from his beloved, psychedelic headquarters at 107 N. 11th Street at Five Points.
