Judith of Schweinfurt (; before 1003 – 2 August 1058) was Duchess consort of Bohemia from 1034 until 1055, by her marriage with the Přemyslid duke Bretislav I . Judith von Schweinfurt was the daughter of Heinrich von Schweinfurt, Markgraf auf dem bayerischen Nordgau, and Gerberga. The identity of her mother is debated, she could have been Gerberga von Hammerstein following Charles Cawley based on his interpretation of Thietmar, or the daughter of Otto, Graf im Grabfeld. Judith was born before 1003.
Judith was a desirable bride, but Oldřich of Bohemia had only one son, Bretislaus, and he was of illegitimate birth, thus complicating the prospect of a marriage with the high-born Judith. Bretislaus solved the problem by kidnapping Judith from a monastery in Schweinfurt, [1] although he was never punished for the crime.
