It is a Church of England school, open to all faiths and none. The school has a non-selective admissions policy. It is a standalone prep school, not tied to any one senior school. Day fees at Brockhurst and Marlston House Schools range from £4,450 (Rec) to £7,400 per term (2023/24). Full boarding fees are £9,700 per term.
The Pre-Prep School, Ridge House, is a co-educational department of Brockhurst and Marlston House Schools for children aged 3–6 years, and is situated on the same site in new self-contained, purpose-designed accommodation. Our Pre-Prep also includes a 51 week a year Nursery.

Yet when we first visited Brockhurst and Marlston we drove away asking ourselves why we wouldn’t choose it. We knew immediately it was the school for us. It was conveniently located only five minutes from the M4 Junction 13 (Newbury / Hermitage), the boarding house was warm and homely, the facilities were incredibly modern, yet the school values were traditionally charming.

Brockhurst and Marlston House Schools is an Independent school catering for 2 year olds to 13 year olds. It is set in the countryside just outside Hermitage. Nursery, reception and Year 1 and year 2 children are taught in small mixed sex classes. From year 3 to Year 8 they are taught in single sex classes.
