Paul Banks. US/Danish singer and songwriter, born in Denver, USA, based in Copenhagen, Denmark. His father, US folk singer Jo Banks ran a coffee house in Copenhagen that from the mid 60's was central in bringing american folk music and americana to Denmark and where the young Paul Banks used to hang out with visiting musicians.
He asuivat useissa paikoissa: Michiganissa, Espanja, New Jersey, Méxicossa ja Pariisissa. Lopulta perhe muutti New Yorkiin. Banks aloitti kitaransoiton ollessaan 13-vuotias. Banks & Steelz is a musical collaboration between Interpol frontman Paul Banks and Wu-Tang Clan rapper RZA. The duo began making music together in 2011 and began recording a full album in 2013. They released their debut studio album, Anything But Words , on August 26, 2016.
