He is primarily known for his roles as Tomin in the television series Stargate SG-1 (1997–2007), Collis Huntington in AMC's Hell on Wheels (2011–2016), and United States Air Force Major Allen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Iron Man (2008) and Iron Man 2 (2010).
