16 set 2020 · Timo Bernhard. Timo Bernhard started his career at Porsche more than 20 years ago and participated at Le Mans for the first time in 2002. The driver in the 919 Hybrid programme, Bernhard claimed victory for Porsche at la Sarthe in 2017 and was part of the team that twice won the World Endurance Drivers’ Championship.
Meanwhile, there is a generation change as Timo has taken over the team principal’s role from his father and his sister also has considerable responsibility as the team manager.
