Les Novices in one of the best BB comedy, and very underated by years. Story is fan, but there is also deeper levels. Miss Bardot plays innocent nun perfectly, with good rhytm of comedy, she is physically believable and touching. Annie Girardot as cynical and practical prostitute opposite BB is perfect. It is not a piece of art but entertaining!

Review by Allison M. 🌱 ★★★. The cover is a bit deceptive. I was looking forward to seeing Brigitte Bardot as a nun, but it is about her character's escapade as a prostitute. Animal cruelty factor/Vegan viewpoint: Brigitte Bardot uses butter. Nuns eat freshly roasted chicken.
