Up the Creek è un film del 1958 scritto e diretto da Val Guest e interpretato da David Tomlinson e Peter Sellers [1]. Il film è un parziale remake di un'altra commedia britannica, Oh, Mr Porter! (1937) [2]. Nello stesso hanno ne è uscito anche un sequel, Further Up the Creek, in cui il ruolo di Sellers viene ripreso da Frankie Howerd [3] .

The sequel to 'Up The Creek' sees David Tomlinson return as bumbling navy boffin Lieutenant Humphrey Fairweather. This time he is skipper of the ship Aristotle and, together with his second-in-command, Fairweather wreaks havoc when he is ordered to deliver the Aristotle to its new owners in a mythical Middle-Eastern country.
9 lug 2015 · Up The Creek isn’t really in the same league as the latter two examples, but it’s enjoyable enough, if generally more amusing rather than laugh-out-loud hilarious. The funniest section is when the crew are trying to hide their goings-ons from Fairweather, to the point of cooking the animals being kept on the ship and serving them to him.
Bob McGraw is in his 12th year of college, goofing his way through life. Bob, Irwing, Gonzer and Max are the four losers forced and bribed to represent their university in an intercollegiate raft race. Forced and bribed into this role, they make some friends, the lovely Heather Merriweather, but mostly enemies, among others a whole team of marines, and preppy IVY-leaguers determined to win.
