Blood of Dracula is the longest running comic series (outside of Marvel's Tomb of Dracula and Hellsing) based on the Count Dracula character. It was published by Apple Comics and ran from 1987 to 1989.
29 lug 2002 · Taste the Blood of Dracula doesn’t always work – as usual with the Hammer Dracula sequels, the script has difficulty coming up with worthwhile motivation for Dracula. The vengeance angle is not well connected – it does seem overly generous of Dracula to swear vengeance for Courtley’s murder, having not even met Courtley, for instance.

Blood of Dracula flirts with feminism, but really the feminist turns out to be the bad gal. “We live in a world ruled by men for men.” Tough chicks at an all-girl school “welcome” bratty newcomer Nancy. Nancy nearly kills her father and new step-mother by grabbing the steering wheel in the very first scene.

17 nov 2003 · “Blood of Dracula” was released in 1957 and was directed by Herbert L. Strock. This rather obscure AIP film should have been called “I was a Teenage Vampire”. It is basically a female version of “I was a Teenage Werewolf” complete with female psychiatrist and hypnosis and has nothing to do with Dracula.
