There is very little blood or violence, as the film aims to be more about psychological torture than the physical variety. It also wades in a little commentary about fictional violence inspiring real-world crime.

This film is one of the worst attempts at cinema I have ever seen. I sat through the entire film looking for anything good. Much over acting, poor uncreative filming, very amateurish. This will be my White Elephant gift for 2013 Holiday parties. A thousand cuts must be a metaphor for how much of the film should be removed prior to showing.
