Six Feet Under è la morte vista come metafora di tutto ciò che può accadere nella vita. La morte che circonda ogni attimo di esistenza di una famiglia decisamente disfunzionale ma che non si trova che ad affrontare situazioni che possono toccare ogni famiglia normale.
