5 apr 2021 · Existentially, An Imperfect Murder views like a mashup of a woman haunted by the trauma of violence and domestic abuse, mixed with a rodeo of mindless and pointless conversations. Repetitions of flashbacks in conjunction with Vera’s narration, add layers to this aspect of the film, but there is a failure to truly solidify any true notion of what this film wants to be.
Permalink. 5/10. An Imperfect Murder (2017) nebohr 17 February 2022. We feel that this was originally an audition by Sienna Miller for a movie part and James Toback decided to go avant-garde with it. And was mostly successful. It's like almost the entire movie was ad-libbed.
