Think of A History of Violence combined with Taken and you get The Prince. This sounds like an excellent premise considering those were two spectacularly entertaining films, but of course a movie is much more than its premise. The Prince doesn't even live up to low expectations for a direct to DVD film because everything about it is a huge mess.

Einst wurde er 'The Prince' genannt und war Auftragskiller bei der Mafia. Doch Paul (Jason Patrick) hat sich von dem Job zurückgezogen. Eigentlich wollte er seinen Arbeitgeber, den Mafiaboss Omar (Bruce Willis), mit einer Bombe in die Luft sprengen, doch das Attentat missglückte und Omars Frau kam stattdessen ums Leben.
