Tallis Boarding House was named after Thomas Tallis who was Headmaster of Gresham’s from 1606 to 1640. The building, which is a purpose-built boarding house, was opened on the 21st September 1963 by Sir Colin Anderson, Prime Warden of the Fishmongers’ Company. Gresham's is an All Steinway School, providing our musicians with world-class pianos, and in 2017, we opened a new state of the art music school with a recording studio, 140 seat auditorium and practice rooms. The Dyson Building opened at Gresham’s in September 2021.

18 nov 2023 · On average Gresham’s provides £2.5m worth of bursaries and financial support a year, benefitting 200 pupils. 1,000 children from local schools have made use of the school’s existing Dyson STEAM Building, which opened last year, in workshops provided by the school and there are plans for local children to use the new Prep School campus.
Roll of Honour. Below is a photograph of the vellum memorial to the boys of the Junior House who lost their lives in World War I. It was lovingly compiled by housemaster Wynne Willson. There is also a list of pupils from the Senior School, and one member of staff Vivian Smith, taken from the 1920 war memorial in the School Chapel.
