Mister Johnson is a 1990 American drama movie directed by Bruce Beresford and was based on the 1939 novel of the same name by Joyce Cary. It stars Pierce Brosnan , Edward Woodward , Nick Reding , Andrew Lancel , Maynard Eziashi , Beatie Edney , Denis Quilley and Hubert Ogunde .
