  1. 17 ago 2010 · Curvature singularity and film-skating during drop impact. We study the influence of the surrounding gas in the dynamics of drop impact on a smooth surface. We use an axisymmetric 3D model for which both the gas and the liquid are incompressible; lubrication regime applies for the gas film dynamics and the liquid viscosity is neglected.

  2. As you'll soon become aware modernity does not guarantee quality. I began to lose interest about 10 to 15 minutes into the film. It is dreadful B-movie rubbish. The plot is hard to follow - if you can be bothered - the dialogue is cheesy and action sequences are cliched. A lot of the acting is wooden and unengaging.

Editing: Joel Griffen. Runtime: 90 minutes. Country: United States. Language: English. Curvature is a 2017 American science fiction mystery thriller film directed by Diego Hallivis and starring Lyndsy Fonseca and Linda Hamilton.

  4. In this study, a 2.2 µm titanium nitride coating was deposited by reactive sputtering on a silicon substrate. The Stoney formula was used in order to calculate the residual stress of the film. The radius of curvature was measured, before and after coating by optical profilometer, considering the whole surface of the sample.

  5. 16 ott 2020 · Abstract. Surface curvature has been shown to have significant effects on the film cooling performance of round holes, but the literature include few studies of its effects on shaped holes despite their prevalence in gas turbines. Experiments were performed using two rows of holes placed on the suction side of a scaled-up turbine blade in a low Mach number linear cascade wind tunnel with low ...

  6. 16 set 2014 · Based on the double boundary layer theory, a generalized mathematical model was developed to study the distributions of gas film, liquid film, and heat transfer coefficient along the tube surface with different geometries and curvatures for film condensation in the presence of a noncondensable gas. The results show that: (i) for tubes with the same geometry, gas film thickness, and liquid film ...

  7. 11 giu 1990 · The effects of injection rate and strength of curvature on film cooling performance of gas injected through a row of holes on a convex surface is studied. Comparisons are made to film cooling of concave and flat surfaces. Three different relative strengths of curvature (ratio of radius of curvature to radius of injection hole), two density ratios (0.95 and 2.0), and a wide range of blowing ...
