She is known for her role as Mikayla in the Disney XD sitcom Pair of Kings and as Monica Dutton in Paramount's Yellowstone. From 2005 to 2009, she had a recurring role as Gigi Silveri on the drama One Tree Hill. She portrayed Tracy Stewart in MTV's Teen Wolf from 2015-2016.

The actress has done work under the names Kelsey Chow and Kelsey Monica Dutton, but is most well known by the latter.
When cast in Native American roles, she began using the name Kelsey Asbille. She has falsely claimed descent from the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians (EBCI) and a "Cherokee identity". In response, the EBCI issued a statement that "Kelsey Asbille (Chow) is not now nor has she ever been an enrolled member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians.
