Mark Gatiss has won his first Olivier Award, succeeding for his acclaimed role in the National Theatre’s Three Days In The Country. The multi-talented actor and writer was awarded the prize for Best Actor in a Supporting Role at tonight’s ceremony after fighting off competition from fellow nominees David Suchet, Michael Pennington and Tom Sturridge.
