3 ore fa · Abstract. Mineral dust negatively impacts air quality and has been linked to health risks and mortality. This study quantifies the contribution of mineral dust to air pollution in São Vicente, Cabo Verde. A total of 129 particulate matter (PM 10) filter samples were collected at a strategic site using a high-volume (HV) sampler in 2018.
3 ore fa · The higher values were recorded in open markets and schools. At market site 1 and site 2, the mean PM 2.5 concentrations were 31.8 μg/m 3, and 42.5 μg/m 3 respectively. These observed PM 2.5 concentrations exceeded the 24-h upper limit set by Malawi Bureau of Standards on air quality.
