Any that you wouldn’t have read otherwise? My favorite book I’ve read for bingo so far is The Killing Moon by NK Jemisin for the Dreams category (also counts for Author of Color, Prologues and Epilogues, and First In A Series). One I wouldn’t have read otherwise is Strange Beasts of China for Book Club. But I thought it was just okay.
It’s good. No where near the level of dune, at least the first few. The series is just very very long winded. That said it’s probably one of my favorite series just because the world building is fantastic, the audible narrator Samuel roukin is god tier. It has an absurd amount of promise on an excellent premise.
