This happened because John Gladwin left to pursue other interests. Eddie Baird and Terry Wincott wanted to continue writing/recording and performing music and formed the band Blondel. They went on to record four albums and enjoyed a certain amount of success in the seventies. Mulgrave Street was the first album to be released in 1974.
