Arliss Howard (Full Metal Jacket) is hilarious as Nick. And Suzy Amis (Fandango), George Wendt (Cheers), Robert Stack and Abe Vigoda are wonderfully weird as the teachers of Stevenson High. Together, they make Plain Clothes a textbook case of comedy and suspense. Rating. PG.
