Nicholas "Nik" Kershaw was born on 1 March 1958 in Bristol, England, [8] and grew up in Ipswich, Suffolk. His father was a flautist and his mother was an opera singer. [9] He was educated at Northgate Grammar School for Boys where he played the guitar – he was self-taught on this instrument.

Nik Kershaw, właściwie Nicholas David Kershaw (ur. 1 marca 1958 w Bristolu) – angielski piosenkarz i kompozytor muzyki pop i synth pop, popularny w latach 80. XX wieku. Kershaw zaśpiewał w koncercie Live Aid (1985 na stadionie Wembley), oraz napisał teksty piosenek dla zespołów Let Loose, The Hollies i Chesneya Hawkesa.
