The Great Escape Artist is the fourth studio album by American alternative rock band Jane's Addiction, released October 18, 2011 on Capitol Records. The album was the band's first since its 2003 release Strays and features TV on the Radio's multi-instrumentalist Dave Sitek contributing bass guitar alongside Chris Chaney.

Che beffa Perry. Che presa per i fondelli. Ma forse anche stavolta hai battuto tutti: con "The Great Escape Artist" hai attuato l'ennesima grande fuga per la vittoria, ora i Jane's hanno completato il cerchio, dopo aver raggiunto picchi di qualità eccelsi si sono superati anche nel toccare il fondo. Un record difficilmente eguagliabile.

No doubt there’ll be hiccups, line-up changes and drama down the line, but for now, the greatest trick Jane’s Addiction ever pulled off was to escape the past, embrace the future and reconcile with the present. It suits them.
