National Intelligence Academy The foreign intelligence arm of the GIA works to obtain, collect, analyzing, and disseminate intelligence affecting the national security of Mongolia. It coordinates foreign intelligence collection activity against foreign states, actors working on their behalf, individuals whose policies, activities, and facilities negatively affect our Nation’s interests.
The Academy of Foreign Intelligence is one of the primary espionage academies of Russia, and previously the Soviet Union, serving the KGB and its successor organization, the Foreign Intelligence Service. It was attended by future President Vladimir Putin during the 1980s.[1]
