8 gen 2002 · Contrary to some reviews I have come across which insinuate that John Cale's Sun Blindness Music was an attempt at emulating Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music, SBM was in fact recorded around ten years before the equally jarring yet considerably less interesting MMM. If anything, Reed was emulating Cale. That being said, on with the review.
