Professional ratings. Icon is a studio album recorded and released by Asia band members John Wetton and Geoffrey Downes in 2005. It is the first in the Icon series (though they previously released the album Wetton Downes in 2002, a collection of demos from the 1980s). Icon was followed by the albums Icon II: Rubicon in 2006 and Icon 3 in 2009.

John Kenneth Wetton, né le 12 juin 1949 à Willington et mort le 31 janvier 2017 [1] à Bournemouth, est un auteur-compositeur-interprète britannique. Il est surtout connu en tant que bassiste et chanteur de King Crimson de 1972 à 1974, ainsi que pour le groupe de jazz fusion UK en 1978, et finalement avec Asia de 1982 à 1991, puis de 2006 à 2014.

7 gen 2012 · The fact that Track 2 is not "Let Me Go" from the first Icon CD, but "Go" from Astra should have been the first indication that this CD was subpar. If you are looking for the best music form the Wetton/Downes duo I would go with Icon II Rubicon. Also, John Wetton's Battle Lines or his Chasing the Dragon Live perfomance are other good options.
