5 feb 2013 · midcity is the proper starting point for clipping.’s style of hip-hop and the result is so noisy that my ears feel like they were just exposed to acid. Whereas on later clipping. albums they weave the noise into more ‘traditional’ experimental rap beats, midcity is the purest noise hop out there.
