While Adam was on a tour, he met the guitarist of the band Eisley, Chauntelle Dupree. And the dating started from the tour as they were totally in love with each other. But, in the valentine's day of 2007, Adam popped the big question. Later, the couple got engaged meaning Chauntelle said yes to take the relationship to another level.

They got engaged on 14 February 2007 and were set to tie the knot in March 2008. However, in January 2008, Dupree’s father announced that the couple had split and called off their wedding.
