Stuyvesant High School's mission is to provide students with a rigorous curriculum that nurtures and rewards their intellectual curiosity. Although Stuyvesant is historically recognized for its strengths in math, science, and technology instruction, the school also has a dynamic and diverse humanities program, as well as unique educational opportunities outside the classroom.
Later in the program, StuyPrep endeavors to provide more individualized attention and enrichment for participants, which include trips to Stuyvesant High School, Q&A sessions with current Stuy students and/or alumni, and other small-group activities. We will always prioritize the health and safety of all involved in our program.
Stuyvesant High School is ranked second within New York. Students have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement® coursework and exams. The AP® participation rate at Stuyvesant High School is 97%.
