The mission of Antioch College is to provide a rigorous liberal arts education on the belief that scholarship and life experience are strengthened when linked, that diversity in all its manifestations is a fundamental component of excellence in education, and that authentic social and community engagement is vital for those who strive to win victories for humanity.

  3. About Antioch College: Antioch College is a small liberal arts institution located in Yellow Springs, Ohio, with a rich history dating back to 1850. Committed to academic excellence, social justice, and community engagement, Antioch College provides a transformative education that empowers students to become informed, engaged, and socially responsible citizens.

  4. First-year students may enter Antioch College in either the Fall or mid-way through the year in the Winter quarter. For fall entry, first-year applicants have three options for applying: Early Decision I, Early Decision II or Regular Decision. For winter entry, applications are reviewed on a rolling basis through October 15.

While Antioch offers generous merit scholarships to international students, we do not offer scholarships or grants for housing, meals, and other costs (such as books, personal items, flights to and from campus, etc). Prospective international students (and/or their sponsors) need to be able to contribute at least USD 20,000 annually financially.

  7. The Antioch Review, founded in 1941, is one of the oldest, continuously publishing literary magazines in America. We publish fiction, essays, and poetry from both emerging as well as established authors. Authors published in our pages are consistently included in Best American anthologies and Pushcart prizes.
