Tim Cox - der Maler, der das Sonnenlicht einfängt Alden Timothy Cox wurde 1957 in Stafford/Arizona geboren und wuchs in Duncan, einer kleinen Gemeinde nahe der Grenze zu New Mexico, auf. Bereits mit fünf Jahren verkündete er, er wolle Cowboy Artist werden und war schon früh mit Papier und Malutensilien unter dem Arm unterwegs.
Tim Cox was born and raised in the farming and ranching community of Duncan, Arizona. In a 1975 high school English class essay, he wrote that one of his fondest wishes was to be a member of the Cowboy Artists of America. His wish was granted in 2007. He has served on that Board of Directors and is a past president.
5 mag 2013 · Recently, Tim Cox was voted winner of the Readers Choice award for Best Living Western Painter in True West magazine’s 2011 Best of the West poll. He also was honored to have been asked to create the cover of the 75th Anniversary edition of Western Horseman.
