This soundtrack is killer. First of all, it was my second favorite movie after Pee-Wee's Big Adventure as a kid, so it had nostalgic meaning. But all that aside, the soundtrack is by Danny Elfman, so naturally it had kind of a spooky feel with a carnival twist.

24 ago 2005 · I bought it because I'm a die hard fan of Elfman, however I never listen to it. I'd suggest spending your money on "Music for a Darkened Theatre" Elfman's BEST OF CD. It has all the highlights from Big Top that you'd ever really need. Danny Elfman's score compliments the movie. There are a few snippets of dialogue thru out. It's a fun CD.

Pee Wee’s Big Adventure: . This is the only film I did for Tim that was never released as an original soundtrack. Varèse Sarabande did a partial re-recording of the Pee-wee’s Big Adventure score in London a year or so later and released it along with some of my score from Back To School.
