Shaheen Holloway became the 15th head coach of the men's basketball program at Saint Peter's University in April 2018. Holloway's success with the program continued during the 2020-21 tilt, his third season, leading the Peacocks to another top-three MAAC finish by way of a 10-8 conference mark and 14-11 overall record.

In 2000, he was named the BIG EAST’s Most Improved Player, while earning All-BIG EAST status three times and All-Metropolitan accolades in each of his four seasons at Seton Hall.
