Angus MacLane a travaillé chez Pixar Animation Studios de 1997 à 2023 [1].On le connaît pour avoir écrit et réalisé le court-métrage Mini Buzz, le moyen-métrage télévisé Toy Story : Angoisse au motel, ainsi que le co-réalisateur de la suite du film Le Monde de Nemo : Le Monde de Dory.
Angus MacLane joined the Pixar team in 1997, in time to work as an animator on the studio's first sequel, Toy Story 2. Fortuitously, the original Toy Story was what made MacLane want to work at the studio in the first place.
Angus MacLane (born April 13, 1975; age 49) was a Pixar employee. Starting as an animator and story artist, he progressed to directing the short films BURN-E and Small Fry, the TV special Toy Story OF TERROR!, and the film Lightyear.
Angus MacLane is an American director, animator, screenwriter, and voice actor best known for his work work at Pixar. He directed short films BURN-E, Small Fry, and the television special Toy Story of Terror! His feature film credits include co-directing Finding Dory (2016) and Lightyear (2022) as its sole director.

So Lightyear explains in its opening moments, which is exactly how director Angus MacLane conceived of the movie: This is the sci-fi blockbuster that spawned the Buzz Lightyear action figure that Andy receives as a birthday present at the beginning of Toy Story.
