Demons have infested Earth, and only one warrior stands between the dark and the light: Saya, a half-human, half-vampire samurai who preys on those who feast on human blood.
The series' new branding drops "The Last Vampire" from all titles beyond the first, listing the individual titles as "The Last Vampire," "Black Blood," and "Red Dice." In 2010, the next three novels were similarly republished as a single volume, Thirst No. 2: Deepest Desire, Instant Remorse , identified as consisting of "Phantom," "Evil Thirst," and "Creatures of Forever."

Review by Joel anVALISok ★★★★. Holmes and Watson, played by Brett and Hardwicke, are drawn into the goings on in a small town. The death of a small infant gets someone to involve Holmes. A Mr. Stockton played by Roy Marsden , newly back from travels in Peru, acquires suspicion as he had touched the infant the night before his death.
