Back in the ‘70s, Hammer Film Productions had a fair amount of success bringing to cinemas numerous versions of then-popular television sitcoms. A Man About the House is well photographed, aptly acted and provides the expected pulpy pleasures of tremulous English females wilting under the spell of conniving swarthy foreigners. Despite the absence of Yootha Joyce, the film deserves to better known than it is.

Having out stood since the film was uploaded in 2012 Denis Hoare has identified this as the entrance to Quintin Kynaston School opposite 24 Marlborough Hill NW8. The school was rebuilt in 2015 and in 2017 was renamed the Harris Academy, this actual location is now used for The Harris Academy car parking with their sports courts behind.
