Alice is one more sweet, talented girl with low self-esteem looking to have her dreams fulfilled who goes to meet the father she never knew (and never knew she didn't know--that Bram was her father was news to her). The character is a cliche (though a fairly modern one) and a bit of a waste of Traylor Howard's talent.

Alice è una sitcom statunitense trasmessa negli USA dalla CBS tra il 31 agosto 1976 ed il 2 luglio 1985 interpretata da Linda Lavin nel ruolo di Alice. La serie trae ispirazione dal film Alice non abita più qui di Martin Scorsese ( 1974 ), in cui invece il ruolo di Alice era interpretato da Ellen Burstyn che per quella interpretazione ricevette un Academy Award .
