If you are concerned about leaving your data in the browser’s storage, consider using the Day One web app in the “Incognito” or Private mode. Closing the Incognito/Private tab with the Day One web app will remove the data from your browser.

The Day One Safari Extension is bundled with the Day One Mac app. Update January 2021: We’ve removed support for the Day One Chrome extension and plan to re-introduce a new Chrome extension at a later date once the Web app has been released.
