Xan è un ragazzino di 10 anni che vive con i suoi genitori in un ranch in Kenya. Un giorno trova un cucciolo di ghepardo e lo porta alla fattoria, dove viene adottato e chiamato Duma. The boy, named Xan, lives on a farm in South Africa, where he and Duma form a strong bond, but their friendship cannot last forever.
