Herlufsholm School. Herlufsholm School is a private day and boarding school by the River Suså in Næstved, about 80 kilometers south of Copenhagen. Herlufsholm er en av Danmarks eldste kostskoler, og ligger landlig til ved Næstved, like ned til elva Suså. Her ble benediktinerklosteret Skovkloster opprettet i 1135 . Etter reformasjonen overtok kongen Skovkloster, og etter et makeskifte med nåværende Frederiksborg slott ble Herlufsholm omgjort til skole av Herluf Trolle i 1565 .
